Policy
Boarding
At The Fur Butler, we offer exceptional pet boarding services charged on a daily basis. To ensure the smooth operation of our facility and provide the best possible care for all our guests, we kindly ask that you familiarize yourself with our boarding policy:
Daily Boarding Charge:
Our boarding fees are calculated on a per-day basis. The charge encompasses a full 24-hour period from the time of check-in until check-out.
Check-Out Time:
On the day of pick-up, we request that you collect your pet by 10 am. If your pet stays beyond this time, you will be charged for an additional day of boarding.
Check-In and Check-Out Hours:
Between 7 am and 10 pm.
Late Drop-Off or Early Pick-Up:
Should you require a drop-off or pick-up outside our regular hours, please notify us in advance to make suitable arrangements. Additional fees may apply for this service.
Extended Stays:
If you anticipate your pet's stay extending beyond the originally scheduled duration, please inform us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate such requests, subject to availability.
Personal Belongings:
For Dogs:
Food: Sufficient amount of your dog's regular food for the duration of their stay.
Food Bowls: Bowls for food and water labeled with your pet's name.
Leash and Collar/Harness: Required for walks and outdoor activities.
Favorite Toys: Bring along familiar toys for comfort and entertainment.
Bedding/Blanket: A cozy bed or blanket that your dog is accustomed to.
Crate: If your dog is crate-trained or prefers their own space.
Medication: If your dog requires any medications, please provide clear instructions.
For Cats:
Food: Enough of your cat's regular food for the duration of their stay.
Food Bowls: Bowls for food and water labeled with your pet's name.
Litter and Litter Box: Provide enough litter for the entire stay, along with a clean litter box.
Favorite Toys: Bring along toys that your cat enjoys for entertainment.
Bedding/Blanket: A comfortable bed or blanket that your cat is familiar with.
Carrier/Crate: A carrier or crate for safe transportation and if your cat prefers enclosed spaces.
Medication: If your cat requires any medications, please provide clear instructions.
For Small Animals (e.g., Rabbits, Birds, Hamsters, etc.):
Cage/Enclosure: Bring their familiar cage or enclosure with bedding.
Food: Sufficient amount of their regular food for the stay.
Food Bowls: Provide appropriate dishes for food and water labeled with their name.
Favorite Toys: Bring along toys and items for enrichment.
Bedding: For small animals with specific bedding needs.
Medication: If your small animal requires any medications, provide clear instructions.
Please ensure all items are labeled with your pet's name for easy identification.
Pet Taxi
This service allows us to pick up your pet and bring them to our home. For this premium service, an initial fee of $15 will apply, and an additional charge of $1 per mile will be added for the distance covered during transportation. For instance, if you reside 10 miles round trip from our location, the total cost for the Pet Taxi service would amount to $25.
Holidays
Due to the high demand for pet sitting services during the holiday season, stays that include any of the following dates will be priced at an increase of 20% the regular rate.

Payment
To secure your pet's reservation at The Fur Butler, we kindly request a 30% payment of the total service cost at the time of the initial booking. The remaining balance of the service fee is due within 24 hours of your pet's arrival at our facility. For bookings made within 48 hours of the service start date, the full payment of 100% is due at the time of booking. We offer various convenient payment options, including Venmo, Zelle, Cash or Check.
Cancellation Policy
At The Fur Butler, we understand that plans may change unexpectedly, and we aim to be as accommodating as possible. However, to ensure the fair allocation of resources and uphold the highest standards of service, we have established the following cancellation policy:
Cancellation within 48 hours of the service start date:
If you choose to cancel your booking within 48 hours of the service start date, the 30% deposit made during the initial booking will be non-refundable. The remaining amount, if any, will be returned to you promptly.
Cancellation within 24 hours of the service start date:
For bookings canceled within 24 hours of the service start date, the full amount of the service fee will be required. The 30% deposit made during the initial booking will not be refunded.
While we endeavor to be understanding of unforeseen circumstances, the cancellation policy ensures that we can maintain our commitment to other clients and provide exceptional care for their pets as well.
Health Requirements
To ensure the well-being of all our furry guests, we kindly request that all dogs be up to date on Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper vaccinations, as well as have vet-provided flea/tick prevention before boarding with us. We take great care in maintaining a clean and safe environment for your pets, and we appreciate your cooperation in this regard. If your pet brings fleas into the home during their stay, please be aware that you will be responsible for the treatment of the house and any other dogs affected. Additionally, for the health and comfort of all animals in our care, any pets showing signs of illness during boarding may be turned away unless prior arrangements have been discussed.
